At Prayer and Deliverance Tabernacle our passion is to see people connecting together, connecting to God and connecting to our community. To help fulfill this we run a range of small groups activities called Connect Groups.In times of need and times of fellowship, PDT Connect Groups are your source of friendship and support. They are your key to developing connections with those who share your interests or people who are dealing with similar life issues. Authentic, healthy relationships not only provide connection into church life, they are a source of strength, encouragement and joy throughout lifes seasons. "Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ." Acts 5:42 (NIV)Small groups were vital to the church's growth then, and they are just as vital now.

About Us

Prayer & Deliverance Ministries provides top-notch teaching along with great family support - a combination that makes every great church great! Through our commitment, experience, and expertise in ministry, Prayer & Deliverance Ministries has established an excellent relationship with the families within our community that will last a lifetime!
1- We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible (unalterable) word of God, written by holy men of old as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (II Peter 1:20,21)2- We believe in one God who is infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purpose; omniscient (all knowing), omnipotent (all powerful), and omnipresent (everywhere). We believe that he is revealed to us, Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in His comforting grace that never leaves those who trust him. (I Cor. 8:6, Eph. 4:6, II Cor. 5:19 Joel 2:28)3- We believe that in Jesus Christ dwelleth all fullness of the Godhead bodily. (Col. 2:9, Col.1:19)4- We believe in the virgin birth; that Jesus was both human and divine- God manifest in the flesh.5- We believe in the death burial, and resurrection of Jesus.6- We believe in baptism in water by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:4, 38)7- We believe in a holy, sanctified life, divine healing, Communion and feet washing, and glorious catching away (rapture) of the saints when Jesus returns in the clouds of glory to take His people to heaven.(I Thess. 4:3-7, 13-17)

Dr. Roger L. Green, Sr.

Dr. Roger Green is the Founder and Pastor of Prayer Deliverance Ministries, Inc., where he has served the Greater Charlotte Area in ministry for over the past 20 years. Dr. Green has participated in various panels, been invited to partake in many roundtable discussions, and has been requested as a motivational speaker for several marriage enrichment conferences, and has been featured with such federal groups as, the US Department of Health and Human Services dealing with issues of Marriage and Family. Dr. Green has been sought after for his unwavering honesty, sense of humor, and overall genuine concern for issues relating to the family. Dr. Roger Green has a reputation nationally, as being a man of faith, courage, and strong moral conviction.Dr. Roger Green received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Atlanta Law School, has a Bachelors of Technology from Appalachian State University, and AAS degree in Business Administration from Central Piedmont Community College. Dr. Roger Green completed his religious studies at Aenon Bible College in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Roger Green is an ordained and licensed Elder of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. (P.A.W.) and serves as one of the organizations North Carolina State District Elders. Dr. Roger Green is the Founder of the Metrolina Ministerial Alliance, an inter-denominational fellowship of clergy, which was formed to address various non-religious community needs. Dr. Green designed the alliance to become a mediator between the Faith Community and the local, state, and federal government. Dr. Green is also the owner of Angels Christian Academy, a private childcare facility located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Roger Green is the husband of Dr. Connie Green, and is the father of three children, Minister Roger Green, Jr. (Joy Green), Oliver Green, and Tracina Alcorn. Dr. Green is the proud grandfather of six and great grandfather of two.

Dr. Connie Green- Assistant Pastor

Dr. Green has devoted a great of her life to the ministry of deliverance. Dr. Green has ministered all across the nation sharing the vivid details of her lifes struggles in effort to help others cope with lifes setbacks. Through her candid and profound delivery of the Word of God, Dr. Green has become a well-loved evangelist and motivational speaker. Dr. Green's approach to ministry is, to be real with people. Dr. Connie Green served under the leadership of Bishop Edward C. Roberts for over 17 years, where she served in various capacities including the Evangelism, Missionary, and Christian Education auxiliaries. Dr. Connie Green has spent the past 15 years as the Assistant Pastor of Prayer & Deliverance Ministries, Inc. Although, her roles in ministry have changed over the past few years, her priorities have not. "It is still All About Souls..."
